Do you offer promotions?
Custom cabinetry is a trade that requires each job to be priced individually. With so many factors involved in design, installation, workspace, and materials, each estimate becomes as custom-tailored as the cabinets themselves. We take the design, finish, door style etc. and price each job accordingly. If you find a place that is offering a discount, chances are they built that discount into the price before they discounted it.
Will you design our cabinets?
We do all the design work for most of our jobs, and we allow clients to be involved throughout the process. We typically require a design starting point, and from there, we can take the vision into manufacturing, installation, and completion.
Are custom cabinets expensive?
Generally speaking, custom cabinets can have a great range in price. There are many factors that affect the price of custom cabinets. These factors include: style of cabinet, wood species, door style, finish, the amount and complexity of cabinetry and the type of convenience hardware that goes into the cabinet. In our experience, many people come to find that custom cabinets CAN fit in their budget. For those who don’t believe us, we say give us a shot and let’s see! There’s no cost to finding out.
What kind of finish do you use on your cabinets?
Depending on the cabinet and where it is located we use a couple of different finishes. On kitchen cabinets we use conversion varnish which is the hardest finish we can provide. It resists water and oils and is extremely durable. For furniture style pieces such as custom entertainment centers where water is not an issue, we use pre-catalyzed lacquer, which provides an excellent durable, furniture style finish.
Both of these are finish coats that are applied over surfaces that have already been stained and glazed. All of our finishes are custom, one of a kind finishes made specifically for each customer. We can also match almost any finish you already have.
With all of our kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, garage cabinets, home office cabinets, and custom built ins, we have a variety of finishing options to fit all your needs.
Do you use particle board in your cabinets?
Particle board got a bad rap years ago when home center stores were selling cheap grade particle board cabinets. We use “thermally fused” melamine panels. These panels do have a particle board core, but it is an industrial grade of particle board that our industry uses in almost all cabinets. It is an excellent product that is consistent and provides a very durable surface for your cabinet interiors. That being said, we also offer plywood cabinets with a prefinished interior for those who just don’t want melamine.
Do you make your own cabinets?
Yes, all of our custom cabinets are made in Torrance in our factory with our employees.
